Santa Dash kicks off between 10-10:30am on Sunday 3rd December. This gives plenty of time to get in position, sign up any last minute entrants and do the famous warm up before the dash officially starts at 11am.
The Dash is approximately 2 miles long, going from the Sandcastle to Central Pier and back (along the promenade). It’s a family event so all ages can get involved, even the family dog! You can dash as fast as you can or walk at your own pace.
Everyone gets a FREE Santa suit with entry and we encourage you to accessorise yours in any way you want – bling it up, light it up and be adventurous! Think how great it will look, seeing all the Santas along the promenade!
To avoid stress on the day, please ensure that all participants get there early where possible, so you can enjoy the build up and get to the starting line.
Brian House Children’s Hospice provide specialist palliative care for local children with life-limiting illness completely FREE of charge in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. By participating and helping to support events such as the Santa Dash you help us to continue to provide this care.
When a child’s life is limited, it’s important that they have the opportunity to enjoy life as much as they can, even though they may be very poorly. Our respite care, which we provide at regular intervals, gives families the opportunity to experience times of relief and normality.
£1 provides craft materials for a child to express themselves
£150 covers the running costs of the children’s hospice for one hour

However much you are able to raise for this event, your support will help us care for our patients at a time when they need it most.
